A new antique shop featuring products from more than 20 local vendors has opened in Madison Twp. The Homestead Mercantile, a new antique shop featuring over 20 local vendors, has opened in Madison Twp. The store, which officially opened on Oct. 17, sells antiques, artwork, jam, greeting cards, clothing, toys, furniture, kitchenware and more. Owners Kelli and Todd Rowe, a married couple and Middletown natives, said opening the store "fell into" their laps when the building was listed for rent. The shop quickly filled with vendors within a week of announcing the business and is now on a waiting list for new vendors. The couple hopes to host farmers markets and classes in the rear portion of the building.
