Beaver Dam police searching for driver after pedestrian hit-and-run Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, police are searching for a driver who hit a pedestrian in a crosswalk and left the scene. The pedestrian was crossing the street when a vehicle traveling west through the intersection hit them. The driver did not stop and continued west on Park Avenue. Other drivers and people nearby stopped to help the pedestrian before Beaver Dam EMS arrived. The victim was taken to a local hospital, but their condition has not been released. Police have not identified any additional witnesses or footage of the crash.
