Wisconsin Conservation Congress seeks resolution ideas on natural resources-related issues - Wausau Pilot & Review

Wisconsin residents can submit no more than two resolutions per year, and resolutions must be of statewide impact, practical and achievable, and meet the mission of the Wisconsin Conservation Congress. The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is seeking resolution ideas for natural resources-related issues through 2027. The Wisconsin Conservation Congress (WCC) is an independent organization of citizens that advises the Wisconsin Natural Resources Board and the DNR on how to manage Wisconsin's natural resources. Citizens may submit no more than two resolutions per year, which must meet criteria such as statewide impact, practical, achievable, and reasonable. The resolution must be within the mission and vision of the Wisconsin Conservation Council. At the close of the submission process, resolutions will be reviewed and prepared for the 2027 Spring Hearings. For further information or questions, contact Paul Reith, chairman of the WCC.
