LETTER: Tiffany would make great governor
Tom Tiffany will make a great governor. Tom Tiffany, a Democrat running for Governor of Wisconsin, would make a good choice for working families who are struggling with increasing property taxes. He would offer a 10% income tax cut for families earning under $150,000 a year for those earning under that level, which will increase spending for groceries, childcare, housing, and everyday essentials. Tiffany has previously voted to end federal taxes on tips and overtime, but Wisconsin still taxes them. He will also end state taxes on tip and overtime so those working overtime will finally receive their pay. The state government holds $4.6 billion in surplus, which would be returned to taxpayers under Tiffany.
