🦺 ROAD UPDATES: Updates were announced recently regarding road projects in Morgan, Madison + Limestone counties. #MadisonCountyAL #Limestone #Morgan New road project updates have been announced by the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) and City of Madison officials regarding road construction progress in Madison, Morgan, and Limestone counties. Three ALDOT projects were updated on Friday, October 23, along with an update on a road project in Madison. In Harvest, North Day Hill Road will temporarily close for grading necessary for the widening of the highway, beginning October 26, 2026. In Limestone County, ALDot announced that resurfacing of about 4.5 miles of SR-127 in Limestone will begin on Monday, October 26. The remaining paving on the US-31 resurfacing project in Decatur will take place during daytime hours. ALDO will restrict lane closures to non-peak travel hours to limit traffic impacts.
