The Badgers, ranked 25th and 3-1 Big Ten, may have a chance to match their combined win total from the last two seasons. They will face Iowa, which has beaten them each of the last four years by a combined 118-26 margin. Wisconsin's coach, Luke Fickell, acknowledged the significance of the rivalry game and emphasized the importance of avoiding repeat failures. The team has taken a different approach this year after adding 34 transfers and focusing on building their own culture and developing chemistry rather than dwelling on rivalries. The defense and special teams are performing well, with Wisconsin allowing 4.14 yards per play compared to Indiana.
