Former Beloit teacher headed to trial on sexual misconduct charges with former students
A former Beloit teacher accused of sexual misconduct with several former students appeared in court on Monday for a preliminary hearing. Former Beloit teacher, Andre Deko, is facing charges of sexual assault by school staff and child enticement. He was found guilty of these charges following a preliminary hearing and is set to go on trial in January. Deko was a teacher and coach at Beloit Memorial High School for over 30 years. His bond was set at $500,000 in November.
