100 years of Cream Puffs: UW Credit Union partners with Wisconsin State Fair
The first 100 Fairgoers in line at the Original Cream Puff Pavilion will get a free cream puff each morning of the Wisconsin State Fair. The Wisconsin State Fair is partnering with UW Credit Union to celebrate 100 years of Cream Puffs with the celebration of the iconic food. The partnership is set to begin in honor of the Cream Puff Lovin' Celebration on Saturday, Aug. 10, which will feature entertainment and a special visit from the Original Cream Puffed mascot, Cravin' D. Cream Puffle. UW Credit Unions, which operates over a dozen branches in the Milwaukee area, will unveil other State-Fair-themed surprises leading up to the celebration. The first 100 Fairgoers in line for a free cream puff each morning of the Wisconsin State fair will receive at least one each morning during the event.

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (WKOW) -- In honor of celebrating 100 years of Cream Puffs, the Wisconsin State Fair is announcing a sweet partnership with UW Credit Union.
“We’re thrilled to begin a new partnership with UW Credit Union, a Wisconsin brand that loves the iconic Cream Puff just as much as we do,” Wisconsin State Fair Park CEO Shari Black said in a statement. “Partnering with an organization dedicated to creating fun, meaningful experiences in the community makes for a perfect match for our Fairgoers and UW Credit Union members alike.”
UW Credit Union will be the title sponsor of the Cream Puff Lovin' Celebration on Saturday, Aug. 10. The event will feature entertainment and a special visit from the Original Cream Puffs' mascot, Cravin' D. Cream Puff.
The Wisconsin State Fair is Aug. 1-11 at Central Park in West Allis. The State Fair offers dozens of free entertainment stages, exciting rides and games in SpinCity, thousands of animals, endless family activities, events, contests, shopping vendors, and culinary delights, including cream puffs.
“The Wisconsin State Fair is synonymous with Milwaukee summers, it’s something everyone can enjoy,” said UW Credit Union Chief Marketing Officer Anne Norman. “This milestone year is the perfect start to this partnership and a great opportunity to bring the quintessential Fair food to the forefront. We look forward to extending Fair perks through our growing branch network and spreading the Cream Puff love.”
