Get your mind and body in sync, and enjoy some great summer weather as well, at Rooftop Yoga on the roof of Monona Terrace at 5 p.m. Monday. Instructor Madleen Alsabbah will lead hundreds of students of all skill levels in a rejuvenating practice. The class is free, but advance registration is recommended.

Bluegrass fans, rejoice! The Thursday evening free show on the patio of the High Noon Saloon, 701 E. Washington Ave., features The Cody Sisters. Colorado-based siblings Maddie and Megan Cody got their start in 2017, when they were just 12 and 14. Now adults, they say they’re breaking away from their child star image with a new “sense of maturity and musical understanding.”

The first Sessions at McPike Park, the Pursuit of Happiness festival, takes place at (where else but) McPike Park Friday to Sunday. Headliners include Chuck Prophet (pictured), The Stooges and Ameri-Kana All-Stars, but there’s lots of great music on several stages as well as a comedy tent in the evening, food, drink, and local vendors. And it’s all free.

While H.P. Lovecraft imagined many bizarre things in his horror classic “Call of Cthulhu,” he probably never imagined the story being performed by puppets. But Oregon-based Puppeteers for Fears answers the call with “Cthulhu: The Musical,” coming to The Bur Oak, 2262 Winnebago St. at 8 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $20 ($25 at the door).

Celebrate Juneteenth across Dane County with the 35th annual parade, Penn Park celebration and Break the Chains Basketball Tournament hosted by Kujichagulia Madison on Saturday, and in Sun Prairie with poetry readings, a Gospel Afrobeat Dance performance, a free community meal and more in Wetmore Park on Wednesday. The national holiday commemorates the final emancipation of slavery in Texas, and today, it honors Black American heritage and the path toward liberation across the African diaspora.
