MADISON (WKOW) -- The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is conducting prescribed burning at Governor Nelson State Park in Dane County starting at about 10 a.m. on Thursday.

Portions of the park will be closed and access may be limited or unavailable during burn operations. Areas and access to the park may remain unavailable or closed through Friday, March 29, while staff secure the burn area.
