Multiple people arrested on gun, drug charges in Lafayette County, sheriff’s office says

Multiple people were arrested during a high-risk vehicle stop Wednesday following a complaint of suspicious vehicles at a gas station, Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office reports. Several people were arrested on gun and drug charges at a gas station in Lafayette County, Wisconsin. The arrests were made following a high-risk vehicle stop following a complaint of suspicious vehicles at a convenience store. The occupants of the vehicles allegedly used illegal narcotics and were allegedly in possession of at least two firearms. Some of the suspects also had valid arrest warrants. Four of these suspects were taken to Lafayette County Jail and the fifth was taken to Green County Jail. Both vehicles were impounded by the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office.

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Multiple people were arrested during a high-risk vehicle stop Wednesday following a complaint of suspicious vehicles at a gas station, Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office reports.

According to police, officers responded just before 7 a.m. to the Conco Boco gas station on STH 11 in the Village of Gratiot.

Police say the caller reported that the occupants of the vehicles had allegedly been using illegal narcotics and were allegedly in possession of at least two firearms.

It was also alleged that some of the people had valid arrest warrants.

When police arrived on the scene, they performed a high-risk vehicle contact.

Five suspects were arrested for gun and drug charges as well as their active warrants. Four of the suspects were taken to Lafayette County Jail. The fifth was brought to Green County Jail.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene and impounded by the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office.
